Selling a UK website: a practical checklist
Buyers usually want clean analytics, revenue you can point to (for example Stripe), proof you own the content, and a simple handover. Get those ready before you pay to list on Stallova.
- Export 12 months of traffic from Search Console and your analytics tool.
- Tag revenue by product and remove personal expenses from any profit figure you share.
- List dependencies: APIs, licences, domains, and email.
- Decide whether the deal is a share sale or an asset sale. That is a question for you and your accountant.
- Disclose problems early. That is what builds trust.
- List on Stallova, and use a global venue as well if you need one.
This is a checklist, not advice. A complex sale needs a solicitor and an accountant.
